MCT Named to 36Kr List, Accelerating Its Embodied AI Strategy

36Kr recently released its list of the “2026 Top 50 AI and Embodied AI Companies Most Watched by Investors,” with MCT named among the selected companies.

Hundreds of companies applied, and 50 were ultimately selected, including more than 20 from the Embodied AI and robotics sectors. According to 36Kr, artificial intelligence is moving from technological exploration toward industrial deployment, with long-term technology strategy, commercial viability, and overall organizational capabilities becoming increasingly important criteria for investors.

As proof of concept gives way to proof of value, a new dividing line is emerging.

01 | Certainty: An Industrial Foundation Proven in the Real World

As Embodied AI enters the industrial validation phase, the priorities for capital are becoming clearer: whether technology can operate reliably in real-world environments, whether products can be mass-produced at scale, and whether companies can deliver consistently.

The company continues to strengthen a vertically integrated, closed-loop capability system spanning chips, hardware, and models, with significant barriers built over time.

02 | Growth: Building Physical AI-Native Infrastructure

MCT is committed to becoming native infrastructure for the Physical AI era. Addressing the shared underlying needs of different robot forms across perception, computation, data, and simulation, the company is advancing three core initiatives in concert.

Build a real-world data foundation. MCT is developing data collection products and related capabilities around physical-interaction information such as hand motion, whole-body posture, and vision. These products can be commercialized independently while continuously supplying data to models, chips, and software platforms.

Develop Physical AI-native chips. Drawing on physical-interaction data and a deep understanding of robotics scenarios, MCT is developing native perception and computing chips that support distributed multi-sensor deployment, the processing of flexible signals such as force and tactile input, low power consumption, and high-precision synchronization.

Build the platform and ecosystem. Starting with joint development projects with leading customers, MCT will turn its capabilities into standardized products as technology pathways converge, while expanding its business model into simulation-platform subscriptions, data services, and other offerings.

Data feeds chip design and software platforms. Native chips strengthen perception and computing. Customer projects continuously return real requirements and scenario data. Together, these three initiatives reinforce one another and create a positive “data—model—chip” flywheel.

Data becomes a long-term asset. Chips establish foundational barriers. The platform and ecosystem expand the boundaries of growth.

03 | Execution: From Product Deployment to Scaled Delivery

The long-term strategy is already being validated in real-world scenarios. In July 2026, Simplexity Robotics completed the first delivery of 100 units of its all-scenario i7 Pro robot, equipped with the SUMACO MD7123 developed by MCT specifically for Embodied AI applications. MCT has also delivered samples of related products to several leading robotics customers and begun volume shipments.

The MD7123 represents the mass-production extension of MCT’s mature autonomous driving capabilities into robotics, bringing real customers, real tasks, and an entry point for real-world data into the broader strategy.

At the same time, MCT is connecting its Physical AI-native infrastructure capabilities with Bosch’s industrial manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and delivery systems. During 2026, Bosch will support the mass-production ramp-up of MCT’s IMU module portfolio.

Together, these developments present a clear value path to the market:

Looking ahead, MCT will continue to build from real-world data, advance Physical AI-native chips, and develop its platform and ecosystem—helping move Embodied AI from “capable” to “reliable.”
